Tekserve performs in and out-of-warranty repairs on all Apple computers and displays. We know it’s tough to be without your computer, which is why we provide flat-rate rentals to our repair customers. We even have previous generation Macs for use with older hardware and software.

Rental Rates

The following rates allow you to rent a computer for the duration of your repair, plus a 3-day grace period to return the rental after the repair is complete.

$99 Standard Portable Rental (MacBook)
$199 Premium Portable Rental (MacBook Pro or PowerBook G4)
$299 Premium Desktop Rental (Mac Pro or Power Mac G5)

If you’d like to rent any of our other items during a repair, please contact us for the rate.

If your machine is less valuable than the machine being rented, or is here for accidental damage, we ask for a deposit equal to the full value of the rental. Please note that repairs awaiting approval or payment for more than 3 days will be charged standard rental rates until approval is received.

Data Backups (one business day required)

If you need files from a computer coming in for repair, we can copy its data to DVDs (up to 16GB) or an external hard drive. If the other computer is working, we charge $59. If the other computer must be taken apart to have its data copied, we charge $99 in conjunction with a rental. If you have more than 16GB of data to backup, you will need to provide us with an empty FireWire external hard drive or purchase one from Tekserve. (This pricing does not apply to computers with damaged hard drives.)
